No one can successfully do business in China without strong partnerships. For the past decade, Inter-Citic has been building relationships and partnerships in China.

Inter-Citic Minerals Inc. has partnered with the Qinghai Geological Survey Institute ("QGSI"), the largest geological organization in the province of Qinghai. In a binding Co-operative Joint Venture Contract signed December, 2003, Inter-Citic partnered with QGSI for the exploration of the Dachang gold project.

As part of the agreement with QGSI, Inter-Citic has also obtained a right of first refusal on all mineral exploration projects for which QGSI seeks foreign investment. This is significant for Inter-Citic, since Qinghai is part of a Chinese "Go West" incentive plan and derives 40% of its GDP from the mining industry.

Partnerships with such exclusive rights are a key differentiator to Inter-Citic as a gold exploration and development company in China. The business development pipeline provided by such close relationships and signed contracts ensure Inter-Citic has first call on some very exciting gold properties in China.

Inter-Citic has worked hard to be worthy of the trust and confidence of its Chinese partners who have come to respect both its integrity and technical ability. The result is a choice of excellent opportunities, starting with the Dachang Gold Project.
