Dachang
Drilling Results
David
G. Wahl, P.Eng., P.Geo. Inter-Citic's internal Qualified
Person in 2003 received data from the 2003 drill program
at Dachang, which was announced in January, 2004. These
results further define the gold zones in Anomaly #1, and
are consistent with those announced earlier in 2004. These
results were reported in a press
release dated May 27, 2004.
The
2003 program comprised 3500 m of diamond drilling, the sinking
of 10 prospect shafts and 2.5 kilometers of trenching to
confirm continuity and grade of mineralization. The program
included 31 drill holes, of which 23 have been reported
with the remaining 8 assays due in the quarter ending May,
2004.
Significant
results from the 2003 program included 5.3 g/t gold over
58.2 metres, which included 9.4 g/t gold over 25.1 metres.
This latter interval includes two very high-grade zones
averaging 21.4 g/t gold over 4.3 metres and 20.6 g/t gold
over 1.9 metres
Among
the results released are assays from the remaining eight
holes of the 31-hole drill program. Significant gold intercepts
include 7.0 meters grading 6.91 g/t Au in Hole ZK-11103
(which includes individual and consecutive one metre assays
of 13.4 g/t and 15.5 g/t), 8.46 g/t over 5.04 metres in
Hole ZK 3101, and 4.82 g/t over 6.0 metres and 7.17 g/t
over 5.16 metres in Hole ZK-0803. Significant shaft results
include 6 metres grading 12.13 g/t in Shaft QJ-4501.
Results
of the remaining eight drill holes and the final two prospecting
shafts are summarized in the chart below.

| Note:
Shaft QJ-9501 was sunk in the area of the up-dip projection
of the mineralization intersected in Hole ZK-9501, which
returned 1.3g/t Au over 72.2m. This intersection included
8.9g/t over 3.3m and 5.2g/t Au over 6.6m (ref Press
Release January 8, 2004). The assay results from this
shaft support the encouraging results encountered in
hole ZK-9501. |
Sampling
& Analysis
Sampling and analysis was carried out by QGSI at a state
owned laboratory facility in Xining. Geologists selected
the intervals to be sampled. After being weighed and registered
on a sample transfer list, the samples were sent to the
QGSI laboratory in Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province.
At the QGSI laboratory, the samples were dried and pulverized.
A 20 gram sample of the pulverized material was used for
analysis using wet chemical methods.
This
drilling report result was prepared by management, including
Mr. D. G. Wahl, P.Eng., P. Geo., Inter-Citic's internal
Qualified Person for the purposes of National Instrument
43-101, and has been reviewed by Dr. George Cargill, P.Eng.,
Inter-Citic's external Qualified Person.
